Dear parents and carers,
Thank you for your patience during this time while we work with NSW Health.
I would like to provide you with a further update to my communications.
As you are aware, our school was made non-operational due to members of our school community having tested positive for COVID-19.
As we are operating strict cohorting at our school, only staff and students in Year 9 and Year 11 were asked to self-isolate as a precaution while we complete contact tracing.
Year 11 staff and students will be required to continue to isolate to allow further time for contact tracing to be completed.
For Year 9 staff and students, NSW Health have advised that the Year 9 member of our school community was not infectious while on school grounds and therefore no staff or students have been identified as contacts of the confirmed case. Any staff or Year 9 students currently isolating pending further information are no longer required to isolate.
NSW Health reminds anyone who has been unwell or if you develop any symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell/taste, muscle/joint pains, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting or extreme tiredness to be tested at one of the testing clinics.
