Sport and fitness

In the belief that physical health plays an important role in a quality life, we encourage regular participation in physical activity.

All students in Years 7 to 10 must engage in at least 300 hours of Physical Education, Health and Personal Development over four years.  They must also participate in one of the Sport programs.  All students are encouraged to undertake daily physical activity to increase their overall health status.

School carnivals in swimming, cross-country and athletics are held each year and students who qualify by performance are nominated for Zone, then Area and finally State levels of competition. As with all sport and physical activity initiatives, participation is the most important step so carnivals cater for all levels of fitness and performance.
